Do you salivate over seed catalogues? Want to grow varieties you never see at the nursery? Be it heirloom tomatoes or tobacco, this hour long workshop is for you! We will guide participants through indoor seed starting basics, focusing on explaining terms, reviewing equipment, and providing tips for success. Stop by Green Fields February 18th to learn all about Seed Starting from our resident expert Peter Bieneman. Topics will include:

• Selection of seeds, including exciting new flower, herb and vegetable varieties
• Overview of equipment and techniques
• Tricks and tips for success
• Transferring to the outdoor garden
